Community Impact – CPR booths at Legends events, AHA events and community health fairs (tournaments, heart walk, Kaiser Get Fit Festival), train athletic teams at local schools (esp. underserved areas), train other club youth sports teams, teach at teen summer camps and programs, social media campaign teaching youth athletes CPR
Accumulate middle and high school volunteer hours (required for graduation) for our athletes in a meaningful way Train other Legends teams in hands only CPR so they can also educate their local communities Long term goal is to have every Legends team across California trained in Hands Only CPR and AED use and have them be the trainers in their local communities Eventual goal is to have AHA sponsor Legends and Legends be the nation’s model for youth athlete life savers
